
Business Class Visa
The Business Immigration Program seeks to attract experienced business people to Canada who can support the development of a strong and prosperous Canadian economy. Business immigrants are expected to make an investment or to own and manage businesses in Canada and must have certain experience and/or net worth criteria in order to satisfy Govt. of Canada eligibility obligation. The criteria you must meet to qualify are different for each class. These are as follows:
Investors
Entrepreneurs
Self-employed.
Investors
The Immigrant Investor Program seeks experienced business people to invest C$800,000 into Canada's economy and become permanent residents. Investors must:
show that they have business experience
have a minimum net worth of CAD $1,600,000 that was obtained legally and
make an investment of CAD $800,000
Entrepreneurs
To qualify as an entrepreneur, you must have at least two years of business experience and a net worth of at least C$300,000 that was obtained legally. The selection grid based on points is designed to determine whether you will be able to become economically established in Canada. You must also have a commitment to own and operate a business in Canada that will contribute to the economy and create jobs. After you become a permanent resident in Canada, you will have three years to meet the conditions of the Entrepreneur Class.
Self-Employed
A self-employed person must have relevant experience, intention, and ability to be self-employed in Canada and to make a significant contribution to Canada's economy.
Relevant Experience:
Participation in world-class cultural activities or athletics
Farm management experience
Self-employment in cultural activities or athletics.
To be eligible as a self-employed person, you must have the following criteria:

You must meet selection criteria and
You must have medical, security, and other requirements.
